This section of our website is dedicated to a few of the many special pets we have seen here at RBAH.

"Jessie" KeyJessie Key
Female, Yellow Lab
11 years old

Jessie was diagnosed with a type of cancer known as Lymphoma in early 2006.  She underwent chemotherapy for approximately 4 months at which time she went into remission and remained cancer-free for 6 months.  When her cancer returned in February 2007, we started chemotherapy again.  She began receiving chemo treatments every 3 weeks to keep her lymphoma controlled.  Unfortunately, Jessie was euthanized in October 2007 due to a degenerative disc in her back.  But in the long-run, Jessie beat her cancer!  She was an unusually intelligent lab with a wonderful demeanor and a gentle disposition.  We were so thankful here at RBAH that we had the opportunity to get to know her and her owner Perry Key.  She was loved by all here.  As you can see, Perry had a talent for capturing her true spirit in his photographs.  Our hearts go out to Perry because we know he will miss her greatly.

"Cami" McIntyreCami McIntyre
Female, Mixed Breed Terrier
7 years old

Cami is an exceptionally intelligent terrier who was recently diagnosed with a Grade II Mast Cell Tumor.  She is currently undergoing chemotherapy every three weeks and is tolerating it very well.  Not only is Cami wonderful, her family is also.  We have enjoyed working with the McIntyres tremendously and we expect Cami to be around with us a long time.
